Bring 3
YOU’RE IN.WHO’S
WITH YOU?
Already behind youth? Invite three people to join you. One conversation starts another.
THREE PEOPLE.
THREE STEPS.
- Step 1
Pick your three.
Think of three people who care about young people and their community. Write their names down somewhere, just for you.
- Step 2
Have the conversation.
In person, on a call or by message. Tell them why you give, in your own words. That’s what makes it land.
- Step 3
Send the link.
Share the campaign so they can see what HFY does and decide for themselves. Monthly gifts start from £10.
HOW 1,000
HAPPENS.
1,000 Behind Youth won’t be built by adverts. It’ll be built by people asking people they know. When one supporter brings three, and each of them brings three, one conversation becomes many.

WHO COULD
YOU ASK?
- Family
- The people who already know why this matters to you.
- Friends
- The ones who’d back you if you asked.
- Colleagues
- Especially anyone who mentors, coaches or volunteers.
- Your community
- People at your mosque, club or centre who see youth work up close.
WHAT
WORKS.
- Make it personal. Say why you give. One honest sentence beats a long appeal.
- Say what HFY does. It trains and supports the people who run youth work in our communities.
- Make it easy. Send the link so they can read more in their own time.
- Follow up once. A friendly nudge a few days later is fine. Then leave it with them.
WHAT
TO AVOID.
- Pressure. Let people decide for themselves. A no is a fine answer.
- Mass forwarding. Three real conversations do more than a message sent to everyone.
- Adding people to groups. Ask before adding anyone to a chat or mailing list.
- Promising things. Point them to the campaign page for the details.
GOOD
QUESTIONS.
Do I have to be a monthly supporter already?
Bring 3 is designed for people who already give, because your reason is what makes the conversation real. But anyone who believes in the work is welcome to share it.
What if they say no?
That’s completely fine. The point is an honest conversation, not pressure. Thank them, and maybe ask if they know someone who might be interested.
How much do they need to give?
Whatever suits them. Monthly gifts start from £10, and every regular supporter counts towards the 1,000.
Does sharing the link count as a donation?
No. Sharing is an invitation. Only confirmed monthly gifts count towards the campaign.
Can I bring more than three?
Of course. Three is just a number that feels doable. If the conversations go well, keep going.
TELL US
YOU’RE IN.
Let us know you’re bringing three. We’ll send a few ideas to help the conversations go well.
A little, regularly. A lot, together.
